Persevering

You think they would learn

That the bond our group shares

Can never be shattered

No matter what temptation lies ahead,

What horrors of the past lay yet to be uncovered.

Brought together by a vision

And rigged fate

Kept together by the ebbs and flow

Of choices made long before.

Shards of an amulet are all they share

Journeys are the thread that keeps them

Separated from the rest

Such strange chains events, to adventures

To lasting memories.

To epic battles,

That try to tear them apart,

Those attempts are vain,

You think they would learn.

A poem vaguely inspired by the exploits of the core Trinity and the One. Their ethos and power.
