How to Stop Wildfire Third Anniversary
Today is April 22nd, 2018. It is the third anniversary of the release of How to Stop Wildfire. It’s also my birthday, which is no coincidence, but I don’t care for making a fuss over birthdays. Anniversaries, specifically related to How to Stop Wildfire, specifically for third ones, however, are something I tend to think about more.
These three years...
How to Stop Wildfire was published April 22nd, 2015. Little less than five months later, Harmonic Waves was released September 9th, 2015.
About half a year later, Threads that Bind the Tempest was released in March 27th, 2016. Five months later than that, Of Fractured Edges was released August 31st, 2016, the close of the first four books of the Adventures of the Trinity and the One.
Approximately nine months later, Expansion Expression, the start of the next set of four, came out ~May 31st, 2017. To close the year, The Madness of Light, was released December 30th, 2017.
I’ve been busy since How to Stop Wildfire came out. Five years writing one book and now three years later I’ve written five more since then. Six total, pending seven. It’s been quite a ride. My whole life since that day has changed in ways I couldn’t imagine then. It’s fantastical thinking where I was then and where I am now.
I always say this, but it’s true—I’m looking forward to what the next three year brings. More writing, more imaging, and bringing dreams into reality.
How to Stop Wildfire Sixth Anniversary
Honestly, this has been one funky year and I imagine for us all. Things were definitely accomplished last year, for sure, but at times it felt like spinning wheels in place while other things ran free. Progress was intense in some places and then hardly any in others. I am so glad for all of the things I’ve done media-wise like commissions and what not this past year, but… I wish Amethyst Shards had been done by now. That’s what...
How to Stop Wildfire FIFTH Anniversary
Has it really been five years? It really has been. I can’t fathom it and yet at the same time, now, at the near end of this major arc with Emerald Haze, the years seem far too apt. It has been a long while since I first scrappily put out How to Stop Wildfire. That was a major accomplishment for myself. It was so small in a way, and yet, it was massive. It was the foundation of all that...
